Fesitval Information

RULES

Welcome to Centerfest, we're working hard to provide a great festival experience and
we ask that you help us by following these few simple rules:

General Information

  • Horse & Buggy Rides

Horse and Buggy rides on Saturday on select routes through town. The schedule depends moment to moment, so we say relax, grab a ride if you're in the right place at the right time and enjoy a trot around town! Big thanks to Bill and Delci Plouffe

  • Kids at Centerfest

Children aged 12 and under are FREE with an accompanying adult. Bringing kids to the festival is not only free but FUN.

And yes! We did factor in a high average kid attendance into our overall cap, so your child will be able to receive a kid's wristband no matter when you arrive with your adult festival ticket!

Hey parents! Stop by the playground for some fun because that's where our vendors that have focus on kids and interactive demonstrations/learning will be.

Please note: the kids area and vendors are not a babysitting service. This is not a place to drop off your kiddos, but a place to enjoy activities with them.

  • Wristband Distribution

When you arrive at the Front Gate you will have a wristband placed on your wrist which will be your ticket. Wristbands cannot be removed or shared. If you lose your wristband, you forfeit entrance to the festival, you will not be given a new wristband.

  • Artist Merchandise Tent

Stop by the artist merchandise tent to purchase merchandise from our artists at Centerfest this year! Don't forget all of these artists are super cool and they might even be hanging out in that tent with us for some selfies and autographs. The tent is located right next to the main stage creekside.

  • Festival Merchandise Tent

Exclusive Centerfest Music Festival merch will be available at our Stone City merch tent near the main stage!

  • Beer

To partake in delicious beverages provided by both Big Spring Brewing and Gally's Brewing at the beer tents YOU MUST BRING A VALID ID to consume alcohol. (Having grey hair and grandkids are not acceptable forms of ID.)

  • Chair Canopy and Picnic Setup

Day tents/Pop Up Tents/Blankets — To allow better viewing for all, no pop-up tents are allowed anywhere on the festival grounds or the music grassland. Don't fret, if you and your crew want a spot to put up your day tent to picnic and hang out during breaks, make sure to find these designated area on the festival map or staff and volunteers will be happy to assist!

Lawn chairs — Your low profile lawn chairs are only allowed in the designated area as show on the map.

Designated standing/dancing zones — Well right in front of the main stage of course!

  • Dance Area

Don't worry you'll be able to show off your moves to your favorite tunes all day long. We ask that you as a reminder to be respectful of everyone's festival enjoyment, whether you like to sit, stand, or swing your partner!

  • Persons with Disabilities

Centerfest welcomes patrons with a disability and aims to improve the site and the Centerfest experience each year. The event is held at Creekside Pavilion and Marketplace where the terrain is flat grass, asphalt and concrete. Please be aware that during busy periods and when it rains, pathways can become tricky to negotiate for people who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids. We suggest bringing a wheelchair with large wheels.

Certified service animals are allowed with prior permission; please contact centerfestmt@centerfestmt.com in advance to submit your request.

If you need anything else, do not hesitate to ask festival staff or a volunteer.

  • Weather Emergencies

Montana Weather: We absolutely love Montana for its natural diversity, but with that can come destructive weather at times, mostly in the form of high winds, hail, and lightning. Help us stay safe by securing all of your belongings against these forces.

As hard as we've tried, we can't seem to control the weather. We do however have onsite personnel helping us read the skies. In case of a weather emergency, please follow instructions from our staff.

Vehicles are the safest place during an electrical storm with the doors closed and windows rolled up. In the event of an evacuation please return to your vehicles as quickly and calmly as possible. Leave your chairs/canopies for later. For those who came on foot and don't have a vehicle, please take cover at Central Feed Grilling Company or the nearest building. Stay there and hunker down. Please do not bring your chairs/tents, etc. during an evacuation! The evacuation may only be temporary, but ultimately it's the weather that decides that.

We won't evacuate to be fun killers, we will evacuate to make sure nobody gets hurt, especially your kiddosfavorite artists on the big partially metal stage! You can throw rotten tomatoes at Stone City after the evacuation, but only if you cooperate. After an evacuation, you'll know it is safe to return when the Event Coordinator has announced over the loudspeaker that it is safe to do so. Our staff will also patrol the perimeter of the festival grounds to announce when the festival grounds will reopen. Please remember that we are a partially metal stage surrounded by vendors with metal tents, etc, so be smart! We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. We will all appreciate the reward of a gorgeous sunset once any weather clears!

  • Medical or Fire Emergencies

Immediately contact a festival volunteer, if nearby, or call 911 for medical and fire emergencies.

Contact a festival volunteer or on-site Lewistown PD Officer for non-emergency conflicts.

  • Covid-19

COVID 19: We promise to put together a safe event and will need to rely on all of you to help make this possible through our golden rule: BE NICE. Please be respectful of others, remember, we don't know each other's perspective, experience, or medical conditions, but what we do know is that we are all choosing to be here to celebrate together
